I could say something and they would laugh and then be like omg "I'm so sorry for laughing" as if they just killed my mom or something. If it's a one time thing, it's bearable. But if it is continuously, it gets annoying to a point. Like there is no need to apologise for something that is small.

Hmm perhaps it's reactive tho for example maybe you gave off the impression that you were hurt by them laughing do you wear your heart on your sleeves?
if you didn't give away any change in expression whether your aware of it or not doing that all the time is annoying so I see what you mean but it personally wouldn't be an ick for me but I can see why it would be one

I just smile because I'm confused. But since it was continuously, I got annoyed and they got the hint. Tbh, I am an open person so at times my face says it all and you'll get the hint straight away.
