What FGS should do

Its baffling how quiet and inactive the FGS has been this whole time despite the support given by the international community so far. With both the Houthi's actions in the red sea and this deal between Ethiopia and Somaliland, the world's eyes are on the Horn of Africa now so this could be a critical moment for Somalia's future yet HSM hasn't done the necessary actions to take advantage of the momentum Somalia has. Here are the steps I believe that needs to be done:
  • Tell ATMIS they are no longer needed and expel all Ethiopian and Kenyan troops out of Somalia,
  • Cut off all ties with Ethiopia and expel their ambassadors
  • Conduct a massive invasion into southern Somalia to eradicate Al-Shabaab once and for all. There will be a full on scorched earth campaign, reducing even Jilib to complete rubble if needs be. Nothing should be spared
  • Pledge support for SSC-Khatumo and other clans in the north by sending weapons, vehicles and other equipment
  • Freeze Somaliland's assets and banks and cut off trade
  • Form a defense pact with Eritrea and Egypt and have closer ties with Turkey
  • Play up the Las Anod conflict in diplomacy and make Somalia out as the victims of a rogue state
Anything else missing?

FGS has been taking a more measured and strategic approach, avoiding unnecessary escalation with diplomatic and behind-the-scenes strategy to secure international support. It's important to consider the enduring consequences of war. Some of the steps you mentioned are already in motion and more to follow in a careful manner.

Freeze Somaliland's assets and banks and cut off trade
It's disappointing how soft HSM is with SL in general, but such actions would ultimately inflict more harm on the people than on their corrupt regime.

The Ethiopians are yet again miscalculating a lot of things, they've got internal problems and now want to cause problems in the whole of HoA region. Hope they come back to their senses and abandon this doomed and illegal MoU, there is no need for another war.

Conduct a massive invasion into southern Somalia to eradicate Al-Shabaab once and for all. There will be a full on scorched earth campaign, reducing even Jilib to complete rubble if needs be. Nothing should be spared
This is the primary focus and the sooner we remove these pests from the country the quicker we we can expel all foreign forces!

When you meet a regional hate of state in a foreign country (Djibouti) , you already lowered your standing as a head of state.

Good points, however, in all seriousness, unless we wish to engage in innocuously vacuous dilly-dallying, there is very little .So could do. In the proverbial sense, we have been caught with our trousers wrapped round our ankles, and are buggered.

They are not being quiet, but have been caught role-playing government, and are clueless as to how best manoeuvre out of the perilous position the nation had found itself in. At his best, Hasan could mobolise friendly nations in the Muslim/Arab world, the likes of Turkiye and Egypt have already taken the lead, and unfortunately we are at the mercy of NATO criminal overlords, who are enticing .Et on one hand, pulling the strings behind the scene whilst on the other hand, pronouncing disingenuous niceties to lull weary public to a trance. Bloody bastards!

Hasan is naive to a fault, is not a shrewd political leader equipped with crises management skills, and only follows the lead of other heads of States, some rogue like ina Geelle. I think Hamze could be the better leader to articulate a position, if only the muzzle could have been removed. He could not possibly do any of the points raised, for he is not in control of Xamar, let alone the whole country. Nor is he on good terms with the elite, nor political leaders in regional states. He could not even coordinate their voices, let alone organise public outcry. Let us pose a simple question: why had there not been continuous demonstrations all over the country, barring N West regions?

Postscript:
I wholeheartedly disagree with point (3), for you are decapitating yourself before you even begin by pulpiteering about waging a war against your best offensive weapon. Not the best battle strategy, is it? You are forgiven for having been fed too much Western prevarications.
