What explains Somalis Caucasoid features?

Reading the old anthropological studies done on east African groups raised questions in my head.

Technically, looking at Autosmal DNA Somalis are the most African group out of the major groups in the Horn of Africa.

Yet they seem to according to these old studies have the least negroid features. The narrowest noses in SSA . smallest teeth , least thick hair etc.


I know Xabashis and Oromos have Omotic DNA which Somalis don't have but this seems to be counteracted by a greater proportion of Levant BA DNA from Yemen yet they still seem to have more 'Negroid' features than Somalis?

What explains this, seeing as things like a narrow nose are the product of evolution for a cold climate which Somalia is not?

The others are Somali-like but fell off a conveyor belt making them less Cushistic. They got picked up be a Yemenite Jew once then were handed over to an Omotic. Both were working illegally at the same factory.

Omotic ancestry in Ethiopians gives them the extra hard rough hair and wider faces compared to ethnic Somalis. Ancient Ethiopians were morphologically adapted to Ethiopia's lush climate making them look more like other Africans.

Somalis are more adapted to desert/arid climates, causing the more ''Caucasoid'' look (-oid means similar to, and not necessarily having ancestry from). There is no need for Eurasian ancestry for that when local climate adaptation can form that morphology.

By the way, Afars have never been tested formally. Those Afars you see on many studies are Xamtanga Agaw's from the Amhara province. As for Oromos, there are two different sub-categories of Oromos, one that is similar to Agaws & Amharas and one that is similar to Wolaytas. They are not a homogenous population.
