Madoobe wasnt planning on campaigning in 2018/19.

He remained after seeing the threat that Farmajo was. Madoobes set a term limit if he were serious about running again we’d have seen him readjusting it again.

I doubt it, Madobe has higher ambitions. I expect him to remain in JL for at least the next term and gear up to either push towards presidency. It is also possible he places his son / close family members into presidency.

We will see the dynamics change in Somalia, i can see an OG presidency + H-Block primeministership in the next election.
