I know that' s the ironic part. Let him live in his fantasy for now :lolbron:
You’re xasid wallahiπŸ’€πŸ’€, but wasn’t there a time were we all believed in somaliweyne? Too bad somalis r too busy arguing amongst each whilst getting karabashed by oromos & afars.

Well it's possible if he where somehow able to take over djbouti and kick out all the foreign military bases somehow from the country without being assassinated and then unite djbouti with somalia but does he have the network and ability to do that which is basically impossible in this current world order
I don't think so manny.png

I'm curious
Having visited the country, I could say, if one considers the trajectory the country has been over the past 30 years, and critically observe its evolution in three areas, for the sake of brevity, and scopability:

a) Political: Noticeable strides have been made in this area, where political entities, in the form of Federal member states, have taken shape, albeit fragile; more importantly, communities came to the realisation that coexistence is wherein lies the future, as has been the case for centuries.

b) Social: Whilst the legacy of the civil war is still evident, if just under the service, there is a cohesion of sort, a sense of citizenry amongst communities, where the culture of warlordism is almost, not wholly, over. Our core culture, as a wholesome nation, which had been gravely, if adversely altered, diluting the traditional image of ardu Somali of old, is forever gone, and will not return.

c) Economic: The country is fastly modernising its economy, if still heavily dependent upon importing basic necessities, with a considerable trade imbalance, and with monopolies, in some sectors, vastly increasing. Prevalent, if rather evident is the growing culture of 'haves vs have-nots', where the wealth class is expanding its dominance, in some sectors, whereas the poor is rapidly growing, with the middle class almost negligible, yet noticeable, if making consequential growth.

To answer your question, in the next ten years, (a), and (b) will have seen gradual changes, whereas (c) will have made the most noticeable stride.

Therefore, one could conclude changes will definitely have been realised.

Postscript:
One more noticeable trend: Migration of more young people leaving the country will continue whilst immigration of more people from the diaspora moving back to the country will continue to greatly grow.

Gonna be a terrible Mad Max dystopia. Desertification and overgrazing + way more people than our land can feed. More coastal towns will be buried by sand dunes. It’s not looking good brev.

I am not xaasid. The kid will find out sooner or later the reality on the ground and that he has no position in xamar' s political scene.

I believed in somaliweyn and still do, but a rather advanced vision.

The solution to all the problems are so simple everyone constantly overlooks them
