Your mum that’s what.War adiga iis caadey. Nin mise naag
You ard right in that women need to be treated with the dignity and respect that men receive. I would say even more.
There cant be equality. There can be justice. In the west feminists argue for equal rights in the job place when they are undeserving or havent met the critera.
Women and men are different and should be treated that way. There are somethings that women prevail at and are better therefore should get rewarded more and vice versa.
They have the same chance of earning jannatual firdawsa by their good deeds. No farvitism based on their genders when it comes to Allah. How are men and women eqaul in Allah's eyes.
So a women must put her family and reproducing time on hold to compete. In the west women have been outperforming men in terms of academia for more than 10 yrs now.
Historically, in western societies women were bared from taking on most professions due to their belief in women being incapable of performing certain tasks.
As soon as women started to get educated they have debunked the theories of these sexist men. Women are doctors, engineers and scientists.
Yes there are jobs women cannot do, due to their physical makeup. But to claim that intellectually a woman cannot do certain things is the height of arrogance.
But in society they arent equal in islam. In the hereafter whatever you sowed you will receiveThey have the same chance of earning jannatual firdawsa by their good deeds. No farvitism based on their genders when it comes to Allah.
So a women must put her family and reproducing time on hold to compete.
There are more female nurses than male. There are more stem related jobs dominated by male.
Of course men and women can receive the same education.
Aa for in muslim countries and the west. I wish they gave the breadwinner a living wage since there is a shortage of jobs. Have the breadwinner work whil making a living wage.
I never said it was a competition. Just stated that the whole wage gap is there for a reason was my point. Why is everything about competition for you? So if a girl wants to become a doctor she is competing? Why is it hard for you to fatham that women have hopes and dreams as well?I find it scary that everything is about the male ego, for a lot of men.
Wallah, its times like this that I am greatful for the mentality my father has. Literally went out of this way to educate us and pushed us to achieve what we wanted.
Furthermore, life isn't black and white. Many women are the breadwinners for their families.
Widowed women
Women who have never married.
Women who don't have any brothers, but with eldery parents.
Women with oppressive/financially neglectful husbands.
Every women should be given the tools and skills to make money.
I'm assuming you have kids right brother? I'm hoping you raise your daughters with the mentality that they can achieve whatever they want to achieve. Name it doctor, scientists ect. Allah has given women aqli as well, they have every right to utilise it.
I never said it was a competition. Just stated that the whole wage gap is there for a reason was my point.
As for my daughters the best career they can have is to raise kids. The most honorable job there is raising a family. I will pressure my daughters aa that is whats good for them.
When you say many its not even 5percent.
Its the mans job to provide. My 2cents
Yes. Family first. It is many, i know a lot of Somali girls who provide for their families walal. And things are just going to get worse in the future as the ratio of women: men will double.
Also, one can get an education and marry. Why, do you think its one or the other?
Also, nobody can predict the future, but anything can happen to your spouse. I think it is important for all humans to have the ability to provide for themselves.
I have a question, if your daughter was incredibly bright (inshaallah she will be) and had the ability to attend medical school or a stem programme would you stop her?
