It's all fake and hype. Don't wholeheartedly believe everything you see on social media. Somali fobs are not traveling to Morocco in droves and marrying Moroccan women. Somali trolls amplified and exaggerated these fake videos to garner attention. First and foremost, the vast majority of Moroccan women prefer marrying Moroccan men or other Arab men who share a similar cultural upbringing. In the Moroccan society it is frowned upon for their woman to marry outside their culture particularly dark-skinned Africans. Somalis dont have a good image or reputation in the eyes of Moroccans.

Secondly it is not easy to marry a Moroccan woman. You need alot of money and must demonstrate you are capable of hosting a lavish wedding. You also must come from a good family, have a high paying career and demonstrate financial stability. Certain Somali men think they could get away with preying on a vulnerable Moroccan women like they do with Somali women.
