I have some MJ abtis and habayars that liked Farmaajo, so that's not all true. It's not like most people pay all that much attention to politics so Farmaajo did have a broad neutral support among darood somalis that I noticed. He didn't seem corrupt and violent so he had an ok image.

On the other hand, if my MJ family members were interested in Puntland, they had a negative view. So I guess it's a wash.
