What crops can be grown on somali soil?

I'm just curious since my grandfather owns farmland in erigavo and i might invest in farming there so that my cousins can farm there on the land. Progress need to start from the ground up and i will do whatever i can to feed the local population if i can, it depends on how big the farm is since i don't know yet.

Corn can be grown pretty much anywhere since i know of ppl all over the world growing corn in their gardens (the doomsday preppers). Sugarcane is also a good crop to grow.

banana, lemons, rice, papayas, mangoes, wateremlon, beans(many times), maize, sourghum, yams (many types), tomatoes, bocor.

I think cherries as well. It can grow almost everything.
