Imo I see muslims in the west becoming more secularized. In a few decades we will be no different from people who claim to be christian

Remittances will die out unfortunately most of don’t even keep in contact with family back home much less send money in 10-20 years a major shift will happen when it comes to remittances

Ive said it before but when you have the hooyo mataalo gen having kids nowadays and those same kids cant even understand somali let alone speak it. Its a wrap. Tried speaking to a lil nappy headed young one the other day and he didn't understand a lick of what I was saying. Give me a hooyo mataalo over that for sure.

Controversial but f*ck dugsi, we should be taking our kids to Somali classes first instead of learning another mans language. Ana arabs will also be the death of us...

I was very surprised to see a makeup artist Somali woman on YouTube from Canada not speaking or understanding Somali . That’s crazy to me especially since everyone under 25 they’re parents are born in Somalia

Why just the men? I’m seeing a lot of women getting government contracts and opening up care places and making lots of money ect. Also a lot of Somali girls are going into stem and as a people including the women we’re business savvy. But we also have girls who are content to stay the same. Surely the difference will also be seen in women?
