i have to agree with your points. it can be nice to know what clan you're from, but it just causes a bigger divide especially when people discriminate against others for their ancestry that they have no control over.

The average age in Somalia is 18, our country and our people are at rock bottom, not just in Africa but the world. This is no fault of ours, but as Somalia is the only place in the world we can call home, we must fix it. All educated professionals from all walks of life are needed in Somalia, our generation will determine the fate of Somalia and Somalis forever, I'm not joking. The next 10-15 years is make or break for the 2000 year old Somali race.
