I heard this term many, many times, and I still don't what it means. I do know that it's used for Ethnic Nomadic Somalis, however. I just don't know what it exactly means.

It's in the same vein as being called reer baadiiye.

I'm not sure but in the cold/windy areas, I would use a single white sheet instead of the regular 2 on top of my t-shirt. It got quite chilly at night and the early mornings.
