What are the ideas behind the changing of the constitution?

It might be weird but it does enforce some kind of unity (everyone has to rally behind ONE party atleast) Not a big fan either tho

It essentially strips the idea of clan politics seeping into parties. With only 2 parties politicians will have to now appeal to more factors than clan. It's not ideal as 2 party system can lead to the parties starting different but slowly becoming too similar. However I see the vision behind it, force a system where people will have to appeal to individuals on a socioeconomic basis.

It's nor ideal but I understand it.
