What are some things you realise as you get older?

Im turning 19 soon and i feel old already. I have realised to cherish every moment i have with a sibling and especially your parents. Like it or not, your family is all you got(Alx i love my fam to bits). Choose my friends wisely- my choice of friends havent been the best and i cut alot of ppl off this year.

I also realised to take a more active role in my younger siblings life especially with school, friends etc. Giving them a shoulder to lean on as the second oldest of seven.

Another year has gone past guys and we are entering an new decade, get some things off your chest in this thread.

19? Still a kid. Is it just me or is the majority of users on this site in their late teens and early 20's?

Anyway, if you're the same person in your 20's when compared to your 30's then you're wasting your life. People's perspectives evolve overtime. The things that used to be important is not that important anymore. You will have different circle of friends, and the ways to entertain yourself will be different.

What makes you happy will be different too. And hopefully you'll be closer to Allah the older you get.
