What are ribs made of?

I searched it up a while back and it said it could be multiple meats but which is most common?

Ribs are my favourite cut of meat , flanken cut short ribs being my absolute fav . There are beefs ribs , rack of lamb and pork ribs . Pork ribs are usually called spare ribs .
You should be careful of those cookouts because the sometimes cook beef ribs and and pork ribs in the same grill/smoker.
