I personally want my daughter to wear it early on so she can acclimatize to it and it can be second nature to her by the time she goes to school. I see many girls on twitter who dont wear hijabs use 'im struggling with it' as an esxcuse to get sympathy points & likes so ideally would want to avoid such a s scenario. An ideal age for me to start putting the hijab on for my daughters insahllah is around 6/7 years old as anything younger than that is weird.

Answer honestly and keep this discussion civil and to the topic pls

I like those girls who never wore hijab and suddenly start to wear it the most because they saw the light. Many girls in the West who get forced to wear hijab at young age, do not know it's value. I've seen girls without hijab dress more modest than those that wear it.

I will keep telling my daughter the benefits of hijab and show her examples and everything and she can choose when time is right.

good point akhi but thats a very risky as most girls who dont wear the hijab growing up- never pick it up when they get older. If it works thats greast but the odss of it not working is far greater.

I worn my hijab since I was 8 years old, so probably the same age for my kids:mjhaps:

May Allah give my parents the highest rank of jannah :mjkkk:
Mashallah ukhti, your father raised you very well it seems. Now we see that you are a young woman who takes pride in her muslimnimo and hijab-may Allah bless us with daughters of your rank.

6?? too young .

The problem with this and I have explained it many times on sspot, is that the hijab is so much more than hiding your hair. It's better to teach them the deen and akhlaq and when they reach puberty they can wear the hijab. Otherwise it becomes a uniform. How many hijabis are twerking on insta while wearing it ? It has lost its meaning because parents don't explain properly or they don't wait till the girl is mature enough. And you have no guarantee , she can remove it one day. It's better to teach them the basis, work on the fundamentals of the deen, show them the beauty of islam and the rest will follow.

You cannot enforce the hijab on your daughters, that’s not how it works huuno. That‘s something a girl should decide and choose for herself cuz only then she will truly wear the hijab and honor it. She shouldn’t wear it to please her parents and the muslim society. She should wear out of love for Allah swt and with conviction. Otherwise it‘s meaningless and the hijab will slip (turban style) and eventually she will take it off. Happens a lot. I grew up never wearing the hijab and decided to put it on in my late teens. Best decision of my life and it’s still properly on alhamdulillah. What you can do is convince your daughters and put the love of Allah in their hearts.
