Recently ive noticed a general trend of sspot that is painting somalimen with a single brush; That of lazy dead beat fathers. I as someone who lives in america can only attest to hard working school going somali men. The stereotype of somali men is like mexicans;they work over 60 hours at several different jobs they get on trucks and start bussineses. Yes they hang around at restraunts alot but they definitely do pay the bills. The kids in gangs are literally fara kutiris. Most kids do college and their partime jobs. Also the divorce rate of somali-americans is low. Somali-american families wey iska dhib yar yihiin. To any girl that lives in america is this false?

Reer US seems to be doing so much better than Reer Europe it seems, even my dad agrees. Unfortunately, in Europe the system of welfare is rife and many Somali men (and women) leech off the system and give a bad example to their kids. The divorce rate in the Somali community is high in the UK as the women know that they will continue to receive welfare payouts even without a husband as she will take custody of the kids. No one here seems to care about their children and my mum told me how many of her local counterparts are in denial of the amount of Somali boys being implicated in gang violence. These same women have sons that roam the streets and barely even finished college. My parents always say welfare ruined Somalis and I 100% agree with them.

I’m in berbera atm it’s a nice sunny place by the Somali ocean (Indian ocean pfft) The Lifestyle here is semi sedentary (kinda like a old people’s home or resort) when there’s work they work
Thing is you go down to the beach it’s beautiful and clean only there’s beggars and it boggles the mind how these people beg for money when they can feed their family with fish from the ocean you live right next to it
There’s people in every nation that are a bit lazy (a Swiss-Somali I met in a restaurant said this “they’re nice folk however they don’t have the patience for long term investment “give a man a fish he eats for a day teach a man how to fish he eats for the rest of his life)

London was amazing a few years back lots of places to go police on the streets searching road men (now they can’t search anyone of color without the whole city rioting) it’s ridiculous these people want knife violence to stop they want a solution yet they cuck their own police force
