You guys should see Silicon valley . 2k for a 2 bedroom is a lot but my cousin was paying $2,300 for a 1 bedroom it wasn't anything crazy if you want the apartments regular engineers and computer guys rent its like $3k-$4k a month . $5k month will get you a small house in silicon valley

It would make more sense to be on the Jowhar side (Malay city closest to SG).

You pay 1/3 the rent and if your Canadian you can get multiple entry into SG.
