So you want to remain status quo? A weak federal government of Somalia which was created by kuffars in Nairobi Kenya? A federal government whom can’t even control beyond Villa Somalia?

You cry about somaliland giving Ethiopia access to the sea yet you still support this weak federal government? The delusion.

ICU was a grassroots moving whereby many clans joined. ICU implemented full sharia law, the law by Allahu Subhanahu Ta’ala.

ICU stopped warlords, brought back peace and security for the first time since 1991 in 2006. The Mogadishu airport opened for the first time since the collapse of the Somali government.

Ethiopia seen it as a threat as they don’t want a strong Somalia. USA given a green light for Ethiopia to invade Somalia killing innocents etc to dismantle ICU and create a weak federal state of Somalia.

Seriously back in 2006 ICU actually controlled the whole south which this weak federal government of Somalia can’t even control the tuulos let alone the capital.

We have been used and abused. It’s our fault at the end of the day.

The ICU wasn't truly grass roots, they had foreign funding and duped many naive people who would later join alshabaab who weren't showing their true colours yet. The ICU also had a judge who was guilty of squatting on other peoples property himself so I don't see in all seriousness what islamic laws they could have implemented.
A better example would be Sheekh Cali Dheere's Islamic courts in Xamar that fought the most powerful tribal militias at the peak of their power and were self funded. Crime rates went down drastically during the period the court existed.
