What’s the height for people in garowe or Somalia in general

My lil brother who’s 15 is 5’9 just came back from garowe and said they are his height or shorter, but my lil sister said they are average or above average ? Has anyone here been there before

Due to our Nilotic admixture we should be on the taller side like me for example I am 5’11 as a woman. But due to poor diet most probably won’t grow to their optimal height. Like my hooyo was 5’5 due to malnutrition, I believe had she ate better she would have been alot taller.

It depends but the average seems to be between 5ft 9 - 6ft, tallest Somalis are found in Nordic countries and America, the nordic diet is rich in proteins and milks, while the America is stimulating the growth factors unnaturally, all them GMOs.

We do have the genes for producing extremely tall people but it needs the right conditions.

When I was there I was taller than most and I’m 6’0. Although there were definitely people taller than me from time to time. Like on a long walk I would see at least 15-20 people taller or same height walking around. That out of 100s though.

There’s no much nutritional information over there,eggs are dirt cheap but they hardly eat it and most animal protein are not that expensive you can buy a whole goat for like $80 but they rather be eating processed bariis and basto with no nutrients.
