Being independent is the most important thing in someone's life. Not having to deal or rely on your family for finances and other stuff makes your life so much easier.
I mean they can still be independent without moving out. Moving out brings too much fitna and no matter how strong you think your iman is it will be harder for you. What Somali parents need to do is teaching their children about money and how to be financially independent. When they hit 18 they should be paying for their phone bill, car bills and help out with the house bills. I stopped depending on my parents when i was 16 coz that’s when i got my first part time job and i have this weird personality where I don’t like asking people for things even my mum unless it’s an emergency.
