Sxb this is probably a smokescrean to distract the int community from the fact that Israel might become a dictatorship soon- they have stripped the law of it's teeth in Israel, making the judges now appointed directly and removing their power to do much of anything to check the power of the executive.

In truth they already have annexed the West Bank, they already tax it, they already provide it with services, they already do their elections there, they already treat it like another part of Israel!

Coalition set to advance bill that would deprive attorneys general of all authority

Legislation pushed by Levin and Rothman would divide the current AG job into three separate roles, with each appointed by politicians
