I'm not being snarky or trying to jab at you when I say this. In fact, I find you to be quite the likeable poster. But I think you should take a break from the internet, walaashay. You have reached a point where you seemingly think the internet = real life. Believe me when I say 99% of these twitter posters are life dropouts or timid tech types who will have no real impact on real world events in their entire mentally ill lives.
And believe me, the average person, even conservative irl cadaans, do not think this way or even read 99% of these tweets. I am quite sociable and out and about in the real world and I have never met a single human being who has brought up a single one of these autistic online talking points. Please... live life. Take a break from the web.
Of course I don’t think some idiot online is the average person. But I do realize that the internet, especially twitter, does have an impact on the offline world. We literally live in a world were the VP is interacting with rw accounts that post about wanting to see nonwhites deported and have posted many inflammatory things about diff ethnic groups including ours. The DOGE staffers grew up on 4chan and now have access to the personal info of millions of Americans. Curtis Yarvin has literally tweeted about the word j/reer. There’s a chance that Thiel knows that term which obviously sounds crazy but is realistic considering the people he associates with/the circles he runs in. People are being radicalized online every single day. The recent mass sh**ting in MN illustrates my point. These schizos are a minority but they’re deranged and many of them are either in power or close to it.
I don’t think acknowledging these people exist is a sin. They exist and could be teaching at an islamic school that caters to somali students while holding these beliefs about us. The average Somali person lives in a bubble and has no idea about any of this (which is a good thing btw); people who care about these things are a minority like the average somali has no idea what ajnabis who has never seen us irl are saying about us online.
I post on here and then go out with my ajnabi friends. I don’t think the internet = real life and wouldn’t be friends with them if I felt that way but I’m not delusional and know that the people who post racist commentary about us are real & could impact our lives negatively esp as the world we’re living in becomes more polarized.
The Christchurch sh**ting was in 2019 and there have been multiple incidents since like the recent sh**ter in Sweden, with one of his victims being a Somali woman. You can go online and see edits dedicated to them with thousands of positive comments. I don’t think that racism has randomly increased but Elon taking over twitter has allowed people who would previously get banned in minutes to post freely and reveal their thoughts. Most of these posters are timid losers but it takes one loser to snap and even then the timid types are still capable of negatively impacting our lives.
I don’t think mass deportations or remigration or whatever will happen. Idc about them because it’s impossible as you can see rn with Trump’s failed mass deportations. What is scary is things like a schizo snapping and going on a rampage or being treated by a medical professional who hates me/my people (and gives me shitty care as a result) or having my child or any young Somali kid have to deal with a teacher who hates them/hates us in general. None of them would ever reveal their true feelings but they are still capable of hurting us. 77 million people voted for Trump btw.
Me, writing a post about them that like 20 people max will read will never change things but I think I’m allowed to be hateful towards people who tweet about Somalis constantly. Also, sorry if this is rude but I don’t think someone who has run a blog for years gets to tell me that I’m too online lol

The funny thing about these muslim brown folks, specially when they are younger or in early adulthood, they literally hang off of somali men/boys nuts. they follow us and copy us regularly
they are more numerous in population, have been here longer, why are somali words incorporated in canadian slang and there is no hindi/punjab words sprinkled in the canadian youths vocabulary?

even in adulthood, their men at work kiss ass and try to please their cadaan colleagues or superiors, whereas the somali ones couldn't give 2 shits and are here to work, then leave.
they seethe when they see a somali (regardless of gender) being in a position of authority and more often then not try to undermine them behind their backs. they cannot fathom how one can ascend through the ranks without compromising ones values and integrity.
i don't hate them for the sake of Allah because they are fellow muslims, but I sure as hell don't trust them with anything and feel pity for them more than anything
Legit not an exaggeration
Lots of cadaan and brown people are nice but it’s important for Somalis to realise that we only have each other. Many other groups are happy to throw us under the bus in an attempt to protect themselves.
