I suspect that their database is based on previous uploads and you are probably 'helping' that business owner by widening the categories and samples he can use.

And in general Chinese people are shady. The Chinese government could be behind it as they are known for running secret eugenics programs.

The categories are sloppy and the Chinese guy went for the easiest ones (West African, far South Bantu, Pygmy, Somali).

Differentiating between the more similar African groups is much harder.
