You are the ignorant one. Siyaad made it so women had equal inheritance, equal in court of law, divorce rights, school enrollment, and let them into the army and gov. Plus he helped create the SWDO (Somali women's democratic organization) which helped women organize collectively for their rights.

not really and wouldn't that be more destructive to women? giving them positions solely because they're women rather than merit and results. How would some women interpret that? wouldn't it do the opposite?
