We can do this, Ethiopia is on the brink of an ethnic escalation, but before all that Somalia itself needs to unite. Tribalism, corruption, Fanatism is the biggest problems I can think of. We the new generation must change something, and I am sure that if we take the first step to set up a political party like the SYL that we will get the majority of the Somali people's support. People are tired of lawlessness, tribalism, secessionism, terrorism, corruption and so forth. They had enough and the second-generation immigrants are suffering from an identity crisis. The west is not our home but a temporary Asylum. I will never be able to assimilate, no matter how much you fake it you will never be anything other than a Somali and whether you are Muslim or not you will be put in the same category. Insha Allah I am planning on moving permanently back to Somalia, but Somalia needs to change and I wanna contribute to that good change.
We the new generation must fight for the unfication of all the Somali regions!!!

What about their customs etc? Maybe they don’t want to lose that. Having a tribe & honouring your ways is fine. Maybe a negotiation that each region gets something. Not all Somalis want unification we shouldn’t force them. We need peace in our respective parts.

Sometimes individuals change the world. Depends on if they let other peoples negativity destroy their drive and ambitions which is 99.99%. But that 0.01% will do exactly that!

Individual do change the world. But they work for it, they don't post fantasies on a Somali forum. Many of the diapsora reminisce about the heartland but create even more problems than there were before they came. The intention is what's important.
