The reality is Somaliland reasserted it's sovereignty in 91. If Somalia and Somalians don't respect that then they reopen formerly a civil war (now a war between two states) which will have wide spread collateral effects which somehow this is not accepted or understood.

It is beginning to take a toll on diaspora.

To label Somaliland as secessionism is further enflaming that conflict. So everyone can make better choices. Peaceful seperate coexitence is always an option. I don't think you can shame Somalilanders out of their independence.

Waxaad dhahdey formerly a civil war now a war between two states. That is called secession and the secession is dependant on worldwide recognition. so it is secessionism ie calling towards secessionism. What else do you want to call it
