I really don't understand the hype over osmania. Yes it's cool etc but it has very little history, it was used by very few people and has no historical and cultural background in the country. it has no practical use as while. Our latin base alphabet is also newer but it has a well established and widespread use and it's easier to learn. If we had to adopt a different alphabet for nationalistic or cultural reasons Arabic wadaad script would be more suitable as it has more history in Somalia but even that would be a crazy idea. If you want to use this here and there that's cool , I'm no hater but realistically it won't become the alphabet of somalia . We are living in a global world where even Arabs chat with arabizi (asalam3laykom , kif 7alak etc) rather than actual Arabic script and you want to introduce an unknown system invented in the 100 years ago and quickly abandoned
