We need more festival in Somalia

Other than the two eids we need other festival to show our culture and history, they shouldn't contradicts our Deen
I got few in minds

We should change dabshid festival and get rid of the pagan aspect and turn into fun festival,

*Jumping over log of fire
*Dancing around huge fire trees
*Planting fire trees everywhere
*The costume should all be red and black, everything about this festival is red
*Location should be close to coastal area

Dooxada festival, dooxada are created when arrid places get alot of rain and it turns to dooxo like the dooxada xuddun

*Costume should be all white
*The reason behind this festival should be religious where we thank Allah for the rain
*The festival includes gabay competition

Badda festivals, the festival includes

* Boat Racing
*Surfing
* Building Boat like houses on the sea

the whole festival should be Somali people connecting with the sea

Istunka festival, already festival but we should make it less chaotic

Horse riding festival, this festival exist where horsemen showed off their skills to the Boqor or garaad

I hope you guys have experienced Eid in somalia. From the night before Eid is declared to the days after. Its unlike anything esle.

You just want to rebrand the pagan traditions and market it as Somali culture but that has died out, nobody wants to jump over fire because they all wear polyester.
