Yet the Western world and other parts of the world don't use the Somali word for camel even though we have gazillion words for camels. We are basically camelphiles. The word doesn't say geel or keel or keyl or cel they say camel from Arabic word Jamal or Gamal. Midakel some say we have more than ,,40 words for camel. Just because the rest of the world settled down, doesn't mean you originally were the largest holder of such animal. The funny thing is the only xabashis that can claim Yemeni ancestry are the Solomonic dynasty from Tigray. Xabashis are just as Cushitic as Somalis. Afars are the only ones with more claim to Yemen, if u believe their origin story.
