Many Somalis officers who were in Egypt for training volunteered to take part in October war and it's unfortunate not that many know about this or even care about the lives we lost against the yahuud.

I once saw a black and white picture of a Somali officer in the 1970s leading a group of Arab soldiers with a specific flag at what I believe is a military parade. I don’t know if these were Iraqi, Gulf or Egyptian soldiers and I don’t remember the book. I just wish I had screen shotted it at the time it looked pretty badass.
