I don't know how people like programming. We covered a basic programming language in my first year fundamental engineering classes and I suffered. Hats off to the smart young men and women who complete CSE degrees. There's nothing more motivational than seeing young Somali people achieving their goals. To big bucks and beyond!

Surprisingly, many girls did graduate in Computer science this year. They encourage females to do STEM nowadays and many of these ladies find scholarships in STEM. It is still predominantly male Degrees.

There was one Somali girl that day who was called for ME degree(Mechanical Engineering). It is one of the toughest degrees at University of MN.

The college of science and engineering at the University of MN is highly competitive school with thousands of applicants each year from across the world. We were proud one of our relatives at home was among the graduates this year. One of only two Africans in his respective degree.
