The Iidoor alcoholic Prime minister didn’t really want Ogadens joining Somalia to become the top political players in the country. The civilian administrations already made every Somali in the world eligible to access education, healthcare, jobs and housing in the Somali Republic. The smart thing to do was to massively increase the availability of all those services through an Industrial Revolution like in Malaysia or South Korea.

With a big economy, Somalia would be able to turn on the heat to such an extent that all of those neighbouring countries would collapse without a single Somali soldier entering their territory.

And the Nagorno-Karabakh example has shown that another 50 years of development in Somalia wouldn’t have meant a military option was no longer on the table.
