Was Mecca the true Macrobia?

Saw this theory on social media that suggested the root of the word Macrobia was MKRB (مكرب) and RABA (رب) which means Temple of our Lord in Ancient South Arabian. Over time it got shortened to Makkah. The map by Ptolomy that dates back to 150AD also shows a Macrobia roughly to where Mecca currently is;

Hes a bit weird cause his argument is that its not in the EXACT coordinates modern mecca is in as Ptomoly used a spherical globe system. That it could've been elsewhere in the Arabian peninsula (not accounting for where the Wadi Baysh or"Baitos"). He also argues that the Greek letter K "kappa" used in Ptolemy’s work does not align with the arabic ق‎ "Qaf” which is just bull shit imo it could've just been a phonetic diphthong where one trader wrongly says the name of a town and the second hand writer misspells it. He then suggests that the true Macrobia was a Jewish temple further south in Yemen during the Himyar Kingdoms existence in that area. Just a very weak argument.

Third party sources (outside Islam/Arabia) show that Abraha had greater ambitions than Southern Arabia and with the help of delegations from Sasanians, Byzantines, Lakhmids, and Ghassanids, that he wanted to hug the west coast and conquer a "great city". I dont take this at face value because Abraha also left inscriptions claiming to have conquered Central Arabia but it does show there was something important between the Levant and Southern Arabia:
Himyar, Aksūm, and Arabia Deserta in Late Antiquity

In short, it seems like Macrobia was in Mecca, built by Prophet Abraham (saw) and then fell into idol worship only to be resurrected to prosperity.

Maybe he simply transliterated an existing Arabic term for the area for his map, in which the underlying premise that Makkah is a contraction is plausible.

But the Macrobia we know is (in Greek) 'Makrobioi (Μακροβίοι). It's root words are 'Makros (μακρός) which means Long, large, distant, I think you get it by now. 'Bíos (βίος)' which means Life, lifetime. So the word 'Μακροβίοι' means Long-Lived.

"Macrobia" is cadaan pseudo science.
For the longest time ever ppl used to call cap on the Greek accounts that Gold was produced in Macrobia, people often used to say it was suugo science and never existed because Somalia has no gold... right?

Well in recent times, a plentiful amount of gold has been discovered and incredibly it is exactly in the location of the old Macrobia. Infact two Macrobian ports (Mundus and Mosyllum) described by the Greeks seem to actually be in the perfect position to export Gold- they are both on the opposite ends of the gold-producing regions of SL and Harti Waqooyi so theoretically one group of Somalis could have divided it half and half.

Secondly many Somali population centers that exist today have been described by the Greeks. Mundus=Xiis, Malao=Saylac, Mosyllum=Boosaaso, Cape of Spices=Ras Xaafuun.

The Greeks said that we mummify ppl and placed them erect in crystal pillars, now there is no proof of this today as we have not found any of this yet (he might have been capping here to sell da book, especially on the crystal pillars part) but a site in Jabuuti has uncovered that pre-islamic Somalis actually did bury people, try to preserve them, and most strikingly tied their legs together with rope and placed straight (if repeated elsewhere throughout the body this could easily translate to them being kept erect, unfortunately rope decomposes easy we were lucky to even find a single one)

Macrobia is clearly a Greek term? It means long-lived because they believed the people in said area lived very long lives. Why would it be applied to Arabic?

I personally believe that once archaeological work is done in a professional manner, we will truly discover the truth of the matter and the professionals will know which kingdom was were. Until then it's just purely speculation.

Now I know you are just a Somali troll :drakekidding:
Nah he is telling the truth, they did a study on milk and meat habits of dairy farmers in Ethiopia (Mekele, Gondar, Hawassa, Addis, and Oromo suburbs around Addis). Only 25% of ppl in Mekele 'consumed raw meat frequently'. To put into context "the proportion of dairy farmers who consumed raw meat more frequently (at least once in a fortnight) was 66% in Addis Ababa, 77% in Oromia, 66% in Hawassa, and 67% in Gondar."
