I read this report the other day describing the massacre. It’s from an Amhara website so there may be some bias but it was still and informative read. They claim that FANO attacked first then they retreated. Once FANO retreated, the Ethiopian military entered the town and massacred at least 89 civilians. This happened on 1/29.
