Wardheer Central Mosque under construction

The mosque and madrassah complex is under construction and is being built by the natives. It is called Masaajid Xaaji Abraahiin, named after the ancestor of the city's natives (one of Xaaji Makaahiil's sons).

This is only one of many projects underway in the town. 6 hotels all owned by the Makaahiil Ogaden natives are also under construction. The one being built by Farah Sh Biixi will be a multiple storied building and the tallest building in all of Doollo. After many decades of neglect, Caasimadda Makaahiil ee Wardheer will soon be a modern city to rival the rest of the cities in Ogadenia
