Additional updates on day XXI:
- The joke on the front: 'Waar yaa kaadi tagaya' - meaning who wants to take a turn bombarding SL positions:
a) Reer Sanaag, and Mudug mostly took turns, and saw most action,
b) Reer SSC taking well-deserved break, and guarding Las Anod,
c) Reer Nugaaleed tasked with keeping watch
for possible flanking.
- Gooja Cadde is surrounded with no way out,
- Some SL units attempted an escape to 'Dhoodida', but that too was cut off,
- SSC Commanders are strategising as to the next steps; some are considering offering SL militias an opening, an escape route out provided they leave the weapons behind; this came as a result of SL militias pleading with Garaado for a way out. Garaado's response: 'It was up to the Commanders to decide'.
- SSC Alliance spending the night on 'Taangiga' hillside with their weapons focused laser sharp upon SL's only positions on the Northern front.
- SSC units monitoring Westerns, and Northern fronts to prevent SL reinforcements to reach the front.
*** Las Anod peaceful, and quiet.
