I was today with some Somalis after iftar just chilling outside a mosque, when some of them said..

“We had no idea MJ had this much this firepower. Where were they hiding this much army”

As the only MJ in this fadhi, I thought I was going to reply to this. But hawiye guy replied and said “ dadkaan anaga ayaa daris ah, ciidankooda ugu badan wili ma so gelin oo waa kuwa puntland u qoran iyo kuwa mudug jooga oo aan mudug soo banaynayn- reer cumar Maxamuud iyo leelkase waxaa looga soo tagay mudug.. gurikasta na waxaa yaal technical dhamaystiran.

There was one isaaq guy als a good friend… one hour conversation about MJ fire power.. all I said was “ do you realise how silly it is when your politicians say “ garowe ayaan 30 saqiiqo ku qabanayna”

For the rest I was enjoying their emotions and acknowledgement of who is truly the king of the north—- Harti is without doubt the king of the north- in terms of population, firepower and landmass.
