If the Puntland government cannot provide effective solutions, the blame should not fall on the tribes. Since its establishment in 1998, Puntland has consistently failed to secure its borders be it in the south, Sool, Sanaag, or along the coastline. This is facts. Us diasporas are living safely in the west not facing the brutal consequences of the people dying back home. So its very stupid for us to back either side and call for more bloodshed.

The only thing we can do is to make dua for Allah to bring peace to both sides and also try to do our best efforts for reconciliation if we have the ability.

It's so sad some people in the west even fund clan wars back home by sending money to buy weapons and ammunition. It's sad you do that knowing you will never be affected by clan wars but a hooyo will lose her son in baadiyo because of dagaal qabiil.
