Idk about in other countries but certainly in the UK, we’re always on the firing line collectively as Muslims due to the stupid BS Pakis and occasionally Arabs get up to. Honour violence/killings, forced marriages, acid attacks, domestic violence, forced hijabs, banning from further education, extreme coerciveness and heightened and open misogyny, cousin marriage, purdah, grooming gangs, etc.. are dominated by south Asians in particular and are either non existent or statistically irrelevant to our community but of course they have to shove their dirty laundry in all our baskets so we end up getting flamed via association.
