If the Wall Street Journal had hard evidence, they'd write them. Or maybe not.
We know there was information about the network of associates related to Epstein. That existed. They lack it, supposedly. This is just another sensation piece.
If we put the tinfoil hat on, this might be to soften the blow and redirect, making it not go beyond this. I don't trust these news agencies. I remember reading (NYT) a piece on Russian intelligence having clandestine issues with China, and all the authors were shady, with one seeming like a spy. There were many holes in the story, with the direction of the writing clearly serving an anti-Russia-China relations narrative.
Always remember, these Western media systems are run by elites, and that connection will always set the tone and limitations. How can you have an unbiased media machine if Rupert Murdoch owns it?
That doesn't mean you will not find one good article here and there. It's just very conditional and limited.
