The SNA will be integrated into the Turkish army direct supervisory training program, not into their army. Ironically they’re currently already doing that, but this will be on a larger scale. In regards to direct military assistance, the Turkish army for the first time will send in troops to directly assist the SNA in their operations against AS, which in grand scheme of things would be a massive advantage for the SNA and FGS. Not only will they bring along elite trained military personnel, but they will bring in advanced military intelligence and hardware to help defeat AS. Hope this explanation helped.
On another note, for the Turkish government to do all this, it strongly signals that large amounts of oil or gas has been found, and they in turn are doing this to protect their investment. The next few months is a make or break for the FGS, it’ll be interesting to see how it will turn out.
