Daesh is a product of Salafism, Al Shabab is a product of Salafism, and so is Al qaeda. Have you ever wondered why these groups always prosper in areas in which the clergy seem to be Salafi? The Somali clergy as of today is 90% Salafi and they are majority Itixaad. Reer Bosaaso have a whole lot of them which is a no brainer it is the only region in Puntland were they hide. Notice how Somaliland, Puntland, and DDSI are stable regions for the most part and are developing. The issue of Somalia isn't tribe nor is it corruption because once Al Shabab and Salafism are tackled in the mainstream, the sooner we as Somalis will live in peace.
