walaal i'm telling this for your own benefit, it's best to acquire and seek knowledge before you come to a decision this is especially so when it comes to matter relating to diinta. Are you so confident in your knowledge of the deen to claim without a doubt that what sh umul is saying is completely wrong and he's saying it for the sake of it ?

I didn't write it nor is it a claim of my own making sxb the hadith are there for you to look at your own convenience. The issue i believe is one of interpretation and understanding as i do agree with your above statement. Misunderstanding is on your part hence the refusal to acknowledge what the hadith says

I don't know what the context is as the hadith does not mention it but the Prophet( peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) urinated while standing perhaps because he was in a place where he was unable to sit down, or he did that to show the people that it is not haram.. What is recommended however is to urinate while sitting down as that is the sunnah.

Didn't mean to doubt this hadith, but we should be careful not even Imam Bukhari is free from inaccuracies and mistakes. Plus I can't confirm, but there have been rumors of newly created fake hadiths made to instill doubt in the deen among muslims only for them to leave the deen.

May Allah protect us and guide us to siratul mustaqeem.

I completely understand walaal and tbh it's quite normal to react that way when we come across narrations that seem to contradict what we believe to be correct. Sometimes we tend to forget how our limited knowledge isn't all that there is and shouldn't be the basis for us to accept or reject issues pertaining to the deen

The article talks about accusations that sh soomow has against sh umul and also the government. He accuses umul

1. of giving support to and having the same theology as alshabab.
2. Making it halal to eat hyena's meat
3. Believing ahulusunnah scholars to be gaalo ie
4. Having a wrong aqeedah
5. Cause of fitna and trials that somalia is facing

He accuses the government of falling into a big mistake by allowing umul airtime on national tv to publicise his upcoming talk. He also makes a request to the people not to attend his talk.

Soomow is against umul for his own personal agenda ie aqeedah disagreement even though he has a right to his opinions about umul this doesn't give him the right to make false accusations against him. It's ridiculous and just an attempt to vilify umul's credibility.

@TekNiKo sxb the issue of contention was about the false allegations that sh soomoow launched against sh umal, his entire accusation was nothing short of a smear campaign. He was against him simply for personal reasons that had no diini basis.

Sh caali wajiis and sh bashiir muxaamed salaad who are part of hayada culimada soomaliyeed (sh soomoow is a member as well ) and are based in muqdishu as well issued a video response whereby they refute the accusations, furthermore sh wajiis states that sh soomoow hung up on him after he asked for evidence and to also retract his statements.

Sh cali also mentions that alshabab made takfir of sh umal after he held a number of muxaadaro stating that the group were clearly on the wrong path. For sh soomoow to then claim that sh umal supports a group that made takfir of him is clearly nonsensical, which is why such an accusation is nothing but character assassination of those one is against .
