That's irrelevant tho.
What this video shows is that the guy didn't turn himself in which is what a lot of people were saying.

It is relevant as it strongly indicates that the secret service agencies are undermining this government. Every new information whether it's this footage or the chief of intelligence ordering the PM to remaining silent on this matter, indicates that there's a sabotage at play.

As for him turning himself in, where did that originate from? The Washingtong Post was quoting the official statement of the Ethiopian government, which should be taken with a grain of salt.

Who took him from galmadug? wasn't it the federal government. If it was a sobotage, why hasn't the government come out and said it so?
If they weren't guilty, they would not be quiet this long while everyone blames them for a crime they haven't committed. They are guilty.

If he was being handed over, why not do it straight from Galmudug to Ethiopia? Why bring him all the way to Xamar? In terms of proximity, Galmudug is closer to Ethiopia than Xamar. He was probably brought to Xamar to embarrass this infant government.

Both scenarios will look bad on Farmaajo/Kheyre. If they ordered the extradition, they're morally corrupt. If they are undermined, they are weak leaders who don't control the people in their administration. There's no win in this mess.

So galmadug used NISA to transport the guy to the capital? How does that make sense? Also if it is as simple as you say it is, why wouldn't the government recognize this? Thirdly, even if galmudug did their dirty work and took him to hamar, couldn't the government refuse to hand him over? yaa khasbaye bal isheeg? Both scenarios aren't equally bad tho. coming out immediatley and rightly laying the blame elsewhere might show how incompetent and powerless they are, but it wouldnt have painted them traitors and cowards.

No, he was arrested in Galmudug, but was brought to Xamar to link this affair to the government.

Publically saying your own intelligence services are sabotaging you is a dumb move that could jeopardise a lot.

That footage is from when he was arrested in Galmudug.
Could we see some evidence :bell:even if it was Galmudug Qalbi was flown from Mogadishu not Cadaado!

You're not fit to judge sxb :pachah1:didn't you lot undermine the federal government of somalia by siding with Saudi?:pachah1: Puntlanders are the biggest hypocrites :pachah1::dead:

Don't give this fool the chance sxb :pachah1:if Farmaajo was innocent he wouldn't have colluded with the TPLF by fabricating propoganda that Qalbi had a Ethiopian passport:manny:

Absolutely, someone high up is playing a dirty game.

Farmaajo is being sabotaged on a big level, my money is on NISA.

This footage which has compounded the pressure on Farmaajo looks to be leaked by NISA themselves, on purpose, just when the anger reached a fever pitch high. Perfect sabotage strategy.

Habashi pulling the strings of whoever ran this sabotage operation. No doubt about that.

Then why did Farmaajo collude with TPLF by fabricating propoganda that Qalbi had a Ethiopian passport?

If Farmaajo was innocent would Kheyre have told the journalist "ask me something else"?

If Farmaajo was innocent wouldn't he have picked up on it earlier? (It's clearly done a lot of damage to his career)

Does a innocent man hold a press conference?

He is wearing the same outfit and seems to be in the same room as this picture which was taken in Galmudug

I really don't know bud, and none of us really do, but my hunch is that they were told to be quiet, just as Khayre was told by NISA to be quiet.

Believe it or not, Farmaajo's naivety is what allows him to have compassion for our weakest members in society, that job isn't easy at all.

If it turns out that he's fully responsible, than he deserves to be in Qalbi's spot right now, but if he's actually the victim of a very serious sabotage campaign to discredit him, than there are several wealthy suspects in this collusion:

1. habashi are the ultimate puppeteers in this. Using HSM, who then uses qabil + serious bribes + Damuul Jadiid posted in every sector of the government. They need to digitize that whole government, ban all personal mobile usage that aren't provided by the state (and fire anyone who uses a mobile that isn't an official one + investigation, this requires access to telecoms servers,) ban all MP's and minister's from being out of the country for more than 1.5 months a year., unless on official duty. That would lock down 95% of potential saboteurs in the short term.

2.Al-kebab funding telecoms. Government recently announced the new telecom's legislation to protect consumers and safeguard the nation.
A new tax law, where billion dollar telecoms companies were only paying $400.000 in tax per year: What can you do with such a pitifully minute sum as a government? PM Khayre showed major cajones and expressed that ALL telecom's monopolies are responsible for funding al-kebab. This is enough to be a sworn enemy, Whoever the president of Somalia is, he can't fix a single thing until he breaks the monopolies. They are the reason we're in this state that we need a Farmaajo in the first place.

3. HSM has been plotting to discredit and oust president Farmaajo since the eve of the election. Someone as corrupt and maniacal as HSM had a backup plan, that's why he could smile when he lost that night, even when giving president Farmaajo a tour of villa Somalia a few days later. He never expected Farmaajo to survive more than a month or two. The first shock to his system was the election defeat. President Farmaajo surving the failed 100 MP's + Damuul Jadiid coup plot was the second shock to HSM's system. President Farmaajo surving this long without incident and raking up serious wins against al-kebab was the third shock to his system, as this embarrassed him greatly, domestically as well as internationally.

4. Someone came up with a convenient idea to ban all media statements by ministers, a day or two before the kidnapping. Very suspicious. Could be perfectly coincidental, but I doubt it.

5. Maybe President Farmaajo DID see this coming, but was "advised" to keep quiet, just like Khayre.

6. Yes, an innocent man holds press conferences. That's EACTLY what an innocent man does. Guilty people keep quiet.

Let's wait until we have the facts out in the open tomorrow. Somalia's fate could very well be decided tomorrow. If president Farmaajo's career survives this, he'll be known as the Teflon president. He would be invigorated and would actually fix the country in a short space of time, due to the collective relief. The opposite could also be true if it happens,.unfortunately.

I'm more excited for this press conference than the Mayweather fight.

Does anyone know what time he's speaking?

Absolutely, the government will look incompetent and disunited if he tells the truth, but he has to this time, he has to announce a complete overhaul and restructuring of the intel services, just like he did with the army. That's his only way out now.

You got it bud. The xamar connection is definitely, so that everyone will think Farmaajo's people had him before transferring him to Godey airport.

1 question that I haven't heard a single person ask yet:

Q: Why did they fly from Godey? Why not fly straight from Xamar to addis? Why no phone pics from xamar??

Answer: They (NISA/habashi) drove from Xamar to Godey, hence why it took so long before the picture in Godey airport appeared, which correlates with how long it would take to transfer someone to Godey by road. This means, that's the first plane he's been on during this whole debacle.

If this is the case, than that means NISA kept him in a safe house all this time, even hiding him from the government, knowing they would free him.

I wrote my last reply without even reading ahead. I believe you're spot on. We'll most likely know that President + PM knew nothing about this, and that NISA acted on their own. It's an embarrassment, but they'll at least survive, as most of us know that the government isn't perfect after only a few months.

This is incompetence from the M.O.D though. Head will probably roll over this. As a minimum.
