I said to her "it's a good thing that you are collecting donations but as a member of the Somali government you outa know that this is a futile effort on your part. This will come back in 4 years. We are the poster child of famine and droughts. Could you guys not ever get prepared for this reoccurring tragedy. Can't you guys seek technology from friendly nations if we are presumably poor, techniques to preserve rain water".

Her answer was " I wasn't ready to talk about politics.....I am trying to do my best ....we need people like you, come and help".

At this point my friend chipped in and said "you are want him arrested like Coldoon :siilaanyolaugh:"

Then she replied " it's difficult because I can't visit Hargeisa and I have friends"

At this moment one of her entourage of beggars, a female interjected and said "are you gonna donate or what "

I took a look at my wallet and gave them $1

Then the MP got very talkative and just kept encouraging me to come to xamar

And so I said to her "have you paid the medical bills of your chauffeur "

I've also learned one major revelation, it's one thing to look glamorous and tall on IG but in real life

I haven't gone back to the south since 1991 as a child.

I repeatedly have visited Hargeisa over the years. Just for vacation.

Just less than 5 years ago I transited Mogadishu airport. I was refused to step on land due to this stupid airport policy. We were on our way to Nairobi and some people were getting off and some were boarding but there was ample time for me to step out of the plane to take a moment to pay my respect to a dead carcasses called Xamar. Lunatic refused me. All I was left was watching Amisom soldiers roaming around from plane window.
