There definitely are Uyghur camps. Somalia was one of the few nations in the world that wanted the UN to look into the violations of human rights of the Uyghur people

It is unfortunately dire, if very disconcerting to witness slow, systematic decimation of an entire ethnic group with only Turkiye offering a safe haven. Urumqi (pronounced as Urumji), the capital of Xinjiang, is the largest prison city with three main concentrations camps nearby, and Kashi (Kashgar), a historical city, and the second most populous city almost is in a desolate state.

This is how bad it gets: when you wish to visit families at their homes, they would ask you not to visit during the day, and if in the evening, it must be either before 2100, as home inspections begin round that time. Each family is assigned a couple of officers on rotation, some of whom come to stay with the families, at times sleeping in their bedrooms whilst expecting to be fed. I have been told, some even play husbands sharing beds with females in families, whose husbands had been sent off to concentration camps, albeit fondly referred to as 'rehabilitation centres'.

One very noticeable trend over the years has been businesses on the main streets and malls being taken over by the Hans, the largest ethnic group in mainland China, a government sanctioned policy to displace Uyghur natives. It is nothing short of effecting silent, methodical ethnic cleansing. The Muslim world is indifferent, if in denial. The West encourages.

Chinese have been doing this for thousands of years, they either assimilate you by forcing your woman to marry Han Chinese men and basically ending your line, or absorbing you overtime to become Han Chinese.
