Use your common sense (to an extent).

I see some Somali girls on social media and IRL scared of being in a polygamous marriage, which is a valid concern of course, because certain Somali men can be cowards and dupe you later. But I think the easiest way to tell if someone will likely want polygamy is by looking at their family. If their dad, uncles, grandfather, and great-grandfather had multiple wives and they were brought up where that mentality is normal or the expectation, what do you think is going to happen? Obviously, you can’t generalise, but this is very likely. For example, in my family, every male relative is monogamous and not one male relative has engaged in polygamy. It’s seen as xaasid, a lack of ixtiram, and is simply not our family dhaqan. This is the type of family background you need to be looking for if you are strongly against polygamy for yourself.

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

I don’t follow these manifestation hypergamy women YouTubers but always go into love with your head not heart. Cecilia Regina is someone I think everyone here should follow.
