USC Failed but SNM won. SNM did waged a revolution in waqooyi not a war on clans. A whole bunch of Army generals defected. By the 1990's waqooyi was completely stable. If Aydeed did a revolution like them, they'd most likely be independent and Somalia would be stable but his own turned on him. He should've done a coup.

Like I said only a Jaberti or a Kacaanist. The smaller clans you speak of fall into the latter group. They were content with wholescale massacre of Somalis as long as they ate good.

The USC or SNM were not responsible for replicating a government. They had one job: to take down the genocidal government of Afweyne. Miraculously they achieved that. Mission accomplished.

The responsibility to build a government was on the elders and statesmen of all clans. In Somaliland we did that successfully. In Somalia, that still isn't possible to this day and all clans that reside there are all responsible for the mess that Somalia is today.

It had a host of ambitions, and the Hawiye posters on here are better placed than me to answer so they can correct me if I'm wrong. But I understand the primary objective was to stop Afweyne's savage attacks on the Hawiye in central and southern Somalia from the mid 1980's onwards.
They accomplished that.

False that clan was never targeted the Somali national army was only involved in mudug November 1989 when the 4th division mutinied general maslah send troops to suppress the mutiny. These were not attacks but simply keeping law and order Somalia was a stable safe country in those days there wasn’t violence here and there unlike today which you’re an advocate of and the disastrous legacy the USC have left behind to the people of Somalia and the carving up of the country

Galmudug didn't become a state until after 2012. Before then it was all talk. Even now it's mostly talk and endless fighting amongst each other. HG haven't learn a damn thing since 1991. I heard right now MX is teaching them some good lessons. Sheesh
