I watched a video a while back about some urban explorer hitting up the more seedy parts of town. I can't remember which city it was, but it was one of the bigger American cities. A shocking amount of homeless people were littered all over the city. Brussels x 100.

I have visibly noticed homelessness rise in a few big cities in 3 countries. 2019 was the first year I saw someone dumpster dive for food. Very sad

Who cares about the homeless, the shrinking middle class, and the increasing economic inequality when the country is on its way to becoming great again. :mjlol:

In reality USA is a shithole.

"One organization estimated that in 2015, 13.5% of Americans (43.1 million) lived in poverty. Yet other scholars underscore the number of people in the United Statesliving in "near-poverty," putting the number at around 100 million, or nearly a third of the U.S. population."

If you have money america is the goat country. Unlike Europe they actually respect the rich and treat them different. But if you gonna be poor....rather be in Europe

A lot of those people are addicts, you won’t see many immigrants that are homeless, it’s mostly cadaan and AA.

Poverty made them addicts. When you live in the streets you will need drugs to make you forget the reality.
Depends on the individual tbh. Its quite common to see average people lose all their wealth/assets after making a series of bad choices in life, such as becoming addicted to gambling, wasting money on drugs etc.

Most people are still financially illiterate & know next to nothing about money management, investing etc.

It’s a cycle I suppose, the worst is when you see veterans. There is this old veteran I see every morning right where I exist the highway. And of course the light always stops me so I’m sitting there and he’s right there the first couple times I gave him some money but after awhile you get used to it, it’s a sad reality.

People like to blame the government for the high cost of living but another reason is having no traditional family culture that makes you prone to becoming homeless.

Why do you think 99% of them in the West are not immigrants and are mainly Anglos? These are the same people who kick their kids out when they turn 18 and end up becoming vulnerable in those situations.

Unlike Anglos, immigrants from the third world support each other and would never let their own family member or relative rot street.

I’d sooner be homeless in the US than anywhere else.

Being homeless has tons of resources allocated to it. We’re very charitable. I almost feel like people get too many chances, minus people who legitimately fell on hard times.

The reason they litter certain cities/states is bc other states offer them bus rides out to the West coast. That’s why Cali has more than their fair share. Just like Cali residents, their homeless are from the other end of the country.
